Ya'll this post-Spring Break rundown is very low key... Huge thanks to everyone who participated in Lee Live in any way either large or small. It was a wonderful success and we raised just over $65k!! I've added the April calendar here which is looking pretty full of activity so check it out and mark your calendar for some upcoming opportunities to engage with the school like Spring Fling & Maker Faire/Art Show.

Yearbook Deadlines to be aware of
One month left to order 23-24’ LEE YEARBOOKS! Order here! You can easily customize your own pages with user friendly Treering guide. Deadline for custom pages is 4/16. Yearbooks will be delivered and distributed before the last day of school in May. Deadline to submit child’s artwork and/or photographs of the school year to possibly be added is next week, 3/29
Please send all art submissions and photos to our historian, Selena Melancon as well as any questions

Afterschool Professional's Appreciation Week
This week we celebrated our amazing Third Base team for Afterschool Professionals Appreciation week! Thank you to our fantastic team - Jessica De La Cruz, Karen Haines, Stephanie Ledesma, Lea Sanchez, Ana Beaton, Cristina Maldonado, Yamileth Salazar, Hung Nguyen, Elliott Hilliard, Elisabeth Wilborn, and Shannon Sands - for creating a fun and engaging space for our kids after the school day ends.

A Message from the PTA President, Jessica Hoffman:
It's hard to believe but we are already starting to look ahead for next school year. 😳 We elected a Nomination Committee at the last PTA meeting to secure our nominees. We have three vacant positions on our Executive Board team for the 2024-2025 school year. Please see below for brief descriptions of each role and reach out to Kristy our Parliamentarian (parliamentarian@russellleepta.org) or me, Jessica (president@russellleepta.org) to express your interest or to gather more information. We would love to have you join the team!
Secretary:
Duties include; Attend all executive board meetings (monthly), attend all general meetings (5 or 6 per year), take thorough minutes at each meeting, organize the agenda for each meeting.
Time Commitment: Low
Membership:
Duties include: Attend all executive board and general PTA meetings, recruiting new PTA members, and managing communication of agendas and budget to PTA members.
Time Commitment: Medium
Treasurer:
Duties include: Attend all executive board and general PTA meetings, maintaining the budget throughout the year, receiving check requests and distributing reimbursement checks, working closely with the president to develop budget and budget amendments, use quickbooks to record all spending and revenue, administrative management of insurance, taxes, etc.
Time Commitment: High
