Roadrunner Rundown - Student Flu Clinic & Veteran’s Day

Roadrunner Families, I want to start by thanking all the dedicated volunteers who made our PTA Fall Carnival

such a success! It was a great day for our families and so wonderful to enjoy time together after such a long time without being able to gather as a school community. The combination of Fall Carnival and Book Fair was a big hit, with a record number of book sales and beautiful weather for all to enjoy. A huge Roadrunner round of applause for Melissa Linden, Medwyn Price, Snow White, Jenny Day, Katie Pierce, Terri Rolling, Annelise Bretch, Julie Staab, LeighAnn McGehee, Selena Melanconand all of those who gave of their time to make it happen.

Next week is a busy one! We will hold our monthly PTA Meeting Tuesday evening. Our Student Flu Clinic on will be on Wednesday morning and our annual Veteran’s Day Ceremony on Thursday. Today is the last day that we can accept registration forms for the Flu Clinic, so if you want your Roadrunner to participate, please get them to us by the end of the day. The registration form is attached below.

Lastly, as many of you have heard, our beloved bookkeeper, Stephanie Garza is moving on to a position with Hays CISD to be closer to home. Stephanie has had an incredible impact on our campus and brought such expertise and positive energy to our school. We are sad to see her go, but know that she will always remain a member of the Roadrunner Family. We will keep everyone posted on the process as we work to hire an new bookkeeper for our school.
