This week we're celebrating some spectacular folks at Lee and highlighting a few April events! We all know it is STAAR month—thank you to our spectacular teachers for helping our 3rd, 4th, 5th, & 6th graders get through the ELA STAAR! See the STAAR schedule & STAAR related April Library changes

Did you know it is Assistant Principal & School Librarian Appreciation Week?
Help us in expressing our sincere gratitude for having Mr. Ridgeway and Ms. Day as a part of our Lee community during Assistant Principal and Librarian appreciation week! Notes, cards, kind words- will help these special people know how much we value them.
Remarkable Roadrunner: Ms. Abeyta's Class
Ms. Abeyta's class was selected for the Out of this Universe Classroom Award! Only ten classrooms were chosen across the district for meeting the Imagine Learning usage benchmark!!
The class voted to use their $50 prize on a bean bag chair for their classroom's reading corner! AND they're going to enjoy a pizza party next eek to celebrate.

4/11 - Lost & Found @ afternoon dismissal
Lost & Found will be outside Lee on Friday at afternoon dismissal alongside the Bake Sale!
As you can see it is overflowing! Lots of winter items were left behind after our recent cold snap along with the usual suspects: knit hats, sweaters, hoodies, a few bike helmets, several water bottles and more.
4/17 - Art Show & Maker Faire, The Eyes Have It!
Please save the date for our Art Show & Maker Faire, The Eyes Have It!, a nod to individuality, democracy ("the ayes have it"), and of course portraiture, Thursday, April 17, 2025. Every child will have a framed portrait for sale, just in time for Mother's Day! Unpurchased artwork will still go home at the end of the year.

Maker Faire: 5:30-7:00
Children who wish to share their wares at the Maker Faire will sign up with Ms. Day in Library.

⭐️ VP of Communications ⭐️ This role works to streamline communication, improve technology use, and assist the PTA in supporting students, parents, and staff with clear, timely and concise communication. Weekly communication as well as answer questions or steer communication to proper executive board member from the community.

COPY CATS

Vertical Team News: Summer Camp @ MCCallum
Come join us for 4 days of fun and dancing at our annual Kiddie Clinic Dance Camp sponsored by the McCallum Blue Brigade drill team!
The 2025 Kiddie Clinic Dance Camp is open for registration! Price is $150 per registrant. Please register and pay for each registrant separately.
