Spring semester is in full swing!
I have a few housekeeping notes for you all and a call for volunteers. Please read and if you can, please volunteer. We'd love to have you on campus helping our teachers and students.
Next week we have a few things going on. Most clubs wills start up, there's no school on the 29th in honor of Lunar New Year and Principal Sileo is hosting a Principal's coffee on the 31st. Also on the 31st, the students will get to experience a special Lunar New Year performance during the school day!
Report cards for the 2nd 9 weeks were published. You can access them by logging in to your AISD Parent Portal and clicking on Student Documentation.
In case you missed it, the administration is asking that you please communicate any confirmed cases of Flu or Covid to Nurse Tori McFadden (tori.mcfadden@austinisd.org /512-414-0942). Please also review the Health Guidelines for Attendance, particularly symptoms of the flu/respiratory illness, such as fever, chills, cough, sore throat, or body aches. It is important that sick students remain home until fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication and symptoms are improving before returning to school. Together, we can help keep our school environment healthy and reduce the spread of illness. Thank you for your cooperation in this effort. More info from Principal Sileo's weekly email here.
Call for Volunteers
