Konstella
In the 2024-2025 school year, we're transitioning to Konstella. Konstella is Lee Elementary school and PTA’s official, private communication network. This will be the primary location for announcements, news, and calendar updates. This platform allows parents, teachers, faculty, Room Reps, and the PTA Executive Board to easily and quickly reach the right people and communicate in a secure environment.
Fami-Lee, We're sharing a few tips that might help you as you join our community on Konstella. If you have questions about the system feel free to email communications@russellleepta.org.
The list below is not comprehensive so I'll update as FAQs start coming in.
Notifications
Turn on your notifications so that you receive the latest information in a timely manner either via email and/or push notification on your mobile device. You can do this either from your web browser or the Konstella app on your phone.
Web Browser: tap on your name in the upper left hand corner of your web browser --> click on "Account Settings" --> and toggle the various options in order to optimize your notification settings. We strongly recommend you turn everything on and choose "immediate
Mobile App: Settings (gear icon) --> tap Notifications --> adjust the various options to receive the notifications at your preference. We strongly recommend you turn.
Turn on Phone Notifications
Although you turned on your notifications from Konstella, you still have to tell your mobile device to allow notifications from the Konstella app so you get any updates while you're on the go (away from your computer).

We've included instructions for turning these notifications on using iphone and andriod devices but please do your research in case processes have changed. ​

iphone: Settings --> Notifications --> Konstella --> Allow Notifications & make other relevant adjustments
Android: Settings --> Apps Menu --> Konstella --> Show Notifications & make other relevant adjustments
Sync your Calendar
Sync the Konstella calendar with your calendar of choice! This way you'll always have easy access to Lee events​ in your favorite calendar app on desktop or mobile.

Mobile App: From your main feed, tap Calendar and then tap Sync just to the right of the month name. Note that if you are a Google calendar user, you cannot choose to sync to a Google calendar. Please use the web version in this situation.

Web Browser: Click Lee Elementary School from the main menu, click Calendar, and then click "Sync To My Calendar" just to the right of the month name.​
Sync your Calendar

Sync once and you'll stay up to date all year long.

Mobile App: From the bottom right click on "Directory" then use any of the options available to search​

Send/Receive Messages
Mobile App: the "Messages" icon at the bottom of your app will show you all the groups you are in (classrooms, committees, informal chat groups). Click on "send private messages" to create new messages.
Web Browser: ​From the left side navigation click on "send private messages" to create new messages.
